* Lilian Coquillaud, dessinateur, s’est inspiré des planches de Muybridge pour animer la trajectoire d’une femme dans un paysage de montagne / Lilian Coquillaud, illustrator, drew inspiration from Muybridge’s plates to animate the trajectory of a woman in a mountain landscape.
« L’environnement que je m’efforce de créer, permet le cours d’un instant, de sonder notre propre existence et de déstabiliser la nature physique qui nous œuvre. Le temps et l’espace sont ébranlés, dilatés. Des phénomènes primordiaux surgissent, composés d’éléments puissants et sauvages. Des paysages inconnus se dressent, le minéral et le végétal s’épousent et s’unissent parfois à l’émotion. » / « The environment I strive to create allows, for a fleeting moment, the exploration of our own existence and the destabilization of the physical forces that shape us. Time and space are shaken, dilated. Primordial phenomena emerge, composed of powerful and untamed elements. Unknown landscapes arise, the mineral and the vegetal intertwine and sometimes unite with emotion. «
* Laurie Jolley, artiste plasticienne, observe la nature et y puise sa matière pour dessiner en concoctant des encres végétales (encre du voyageur). Elle part d’un petit élément, le lichen agglutiné sur les pierres, pour imaginer la carte d’un territoire qui serait arpenté par un voyageur, le lecteur / Laurie Jolley, a visual artist, observes nature and draws her material from it to draw by concocting plant-based inks (traveler’s ink). She starts with a small element, lichen clumped on stones, to imagine the map of a territory that would be traversed by a traveler, the reader.
* Marine Levéel, réalisatrice, propose de parcourir un parc situé près de chez elle en banlieue parisienne dans un documentaire photographique et écrit / Marine Levéel, director, offers a journey through a park located near her home in the Parisian suburbs in a photographic and written documentary.
« La photographie de Pauline Buzaré quand je l’ai bien regardée, a provoqué chez moi une forte mélancolie, la nostalgie d’une porosité à la nature, d’un paysage auquel je ne peux accéder, captive des intestins gris qui boudinent la ville. Alors ce travail documente une marche solitaire qui tente de faire disparaître la ville autour d’un parc pour recouvrer sa couche géologique d’avant. Les films que je réalise sont tous différents, mais ils conservent un lien entre le paysage et les personnages. » / « When I looked closely at Pauline Buzaré’s photography, it evoked in me a profound melancholy, a nostalgia for a connection to nature, for a landscape I cannot access, trapped within the grey bowels that encase the city. So this work documents a solitary walk that attempts to make the city disappear around a park in order to reclaim its former geological layer. The films I make are all different, but they maintain a link between the landscape and the characters.«
